One Day Left Until Social Media Day

As we mentioned yesterday, Rock Creek will be hosting a friendly competition on Thursday in honor of Social Media Day. Seeing as we’re located in the nation’s capital, we wanted to highlight some of the interesting and innovative ways government agencies are using the web to inform, engage, and enlighten the public through social media, interactive functionality, and more!

Throughout the day tomorrow on the Rock Creek blog, we’ll challenge you to correctly identify zoomed-in “mystery” images taken from a slew of government websites and social media profiles. We’ll show you the image and give you a clue or two; all you have to do is leave a comment letting us know the site from which the image is taken. And if you’re the first person to guess correctly, there’s a prize in your future, including $25 gift cards to online retailers like Amazon, LivingSocial, and iTunes.
