Case Study: Disease Control Priorities Project
Empowering policies for healthier lives.
An ongoing effort to assess disease control priorities and inform health policymaking in developing countries, DCPP needed to effectively centralize its resources. Rock Creek was hired to create the world’s largest disease control portal for researchers, development organizations, and foreign governments. Funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the project has numerous stakeholders including the World Bank, World Health Organization, and the National Institutes of Health, so Rock Creek had to coordinate with multiple working groups throughout the project lifecycle. The communications strategy for DCPP included developing a brand identity for the project, designing and developing the website, and supporting the project through print and interactive marketing collateral.
