The administration’s reputation as an “enforcement agency” placed a barrier between citizens and the assistance the DEA’s information could provide. The DEA turned to Rock Creek to support an interactive web campaign that focused on the non-enforcement aspects of the agency’s mission.
Rock Creek designed and developed an educational outreach and awareness portal that supports the first conversation between the DEA and parents/caregivers. Created through extensive planning, interviews and studies on parents who had lost teens due to drug use, the Get Smart About Drugs website is a resource for a diverse audience of parents and caregivers that teaches them to Identify, Prevent, and Help by educating them about drugs.
